Hey!
It's been long since i went food-hunting due to busy schedule. :/
Today I'm gonna show/tell you about the food at Jamie's Italian.
(Please don't think I'm biased lol, no. Honest thoughts.)
Jamie's Italian is a rather casual restaurant, good for dates and everything basically.
The restaurant has a very warm and family-oriented feeling.
At night the restaurant is kinda dim though, but still okay.
Price wise,
Food range from S$6 to S$60
Drinks probably around S$5.50 on wards.
See that juicy huge burger there?
Honest thoughts: It's my favorite burger!
Price $27.50++
It's the new Italian burger that has yet to be on their menu, with the new meatball pappardelle at the back.
Crab Bruschetta S$14.50
Crab and apple sticks on the bread, with avocado and crab paste on the side.![]() Prochetta, slow-cooked pork belly at S$35++ But if you're not a pasta person then go for the mains with the sides
They used green apples and the apple sticks are not sour as compared to those green apples we usually get.
And fragrant too.
Fish plank (Anti-pasti) with
Baked Mushroom: A must-try for starters, to be honest.
Music bread, mushroom and cheese on top.
Simple yet delicious.
& Of course, at the back is the current Italian burger on the menu, also at $27++
Sharing Plank-
Only available at weekends at S$138++ for 2 person.
Comes with starters- fish and meat plank
Main- grilled chicken, baked salmon, bolognese with the polenta chips (must-try) and flash greens as sides.
And lastly, dessert plank with eg. brownies, tiramisu.
Served with coffee or tea.
Acqua-Pazza S$32++
cooked with white wine, olives, tomato, capers, garlic and parley.
Wine taste a little strong though, so you might wanna avoid this if you dislike wine taste.
Tuna Fusilli S$14/21.
Tomato based served with bread crumbs at the side.
Polenta chips (FAVE!) S$7.50
Prawn linguine- S$17/25
It's spicy, but able to ask for less spicy.
The pasta(s) is cooked in a way that the center is hard (which they say it's an Italian way).
So obviously it won't be as soft as you eat else where.
or plates like spiced chicken wings (very spicy) or baked mushroom as started would be great.
Still, it's a great place for dates and family.
Bring your friends along with you like trying different food. It's always great to bring friends along when it comes to trying food - order more, try more.
